A missing East Tennessee girl who had been the subject of a statewide AMBER Alert has been found dead, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation announced.
A dive team located the body of seven-year-old Serenity Alanna Marie Kinsey in Douglas Lake at 11: 18 a.m. on Thursday.
Serenity, who was autistic and nonverbal, had last been seen at her home along Indian Creek Road in Dandridge around 1 a.m. Thursday.
