Officials with the Whitestown Police Department released information regarding Wednesday afternoon’s road rage shooting that left a person in critical condition and impacted traffic for multiple hours.
According to previous reports, officials closed I-65 near the 130.5 mile marker Wednesday afternoon. The Boone County Sheriff’s Office originally said a portion of the highway was closed because of “police activity.” Later that afternoon, Whitestown police said the road was closed because of a road rage shooting.
